Homes and buildings in Helena
Most of Helena is fairly new: only about 10% of homes were built before 1980, and the typical home dates from 2000. With newer double-pane windows, the usual problems are a failed seal, cracked glass or a sliding door that has worn through its rollers. More homes here went up in the 2000s than in any other period. That makes its housing newer than about 90% of Alabama towns its size.
About 94% of homes are single-family houses, so patio doors and home windows make up much of the work. About 91% of homes here are lived in by their owners, and we work with homeowners and shop owners alike.
